The Dallas-based homebuilder was awarded “Best Product Design” for their Laurel floor plan, located at the master-planned community of Kings Mill, in Kingwood, Texas.   The winning Laurel plan features 2,020 square feet, three bedrooms, a rotunda entry, stone archways and wood-beamed ceilings. Flexible and functional, the plan allows buyers to personalize their home by adding a two more bedrooms, bay windows, gameroom, additional baths and more. The home can be built in many of the over 20 Gehan Homes communities across the greater Houston area.   The Houston’s Best PRISM Awards are the highest caliber of distinction in the Houston homebuilding industry. Criteria for judging include attention to design detail, function, style and value.   “We are honored to be selected as a recipient of this prestigious award,” stated Tim Gehan, CEO. “The recognition we receive is a testament to our continued focus on providing best-in class, stylish homes that our buyers are proud to own.”   The Houston’s Best PRISM Award is one of the many accolades won by Gehan Homes in 2012. Additional recent recognition includes Builder Magazine’s Builder 100, Texas Association of Builder STAR Awards and San Antonio Parade of Homes.       About the Greater Houston Builders Association   Chartered in 1941, the Greater Houston Builders Association is a trade organization whose members are involved in the development, homebuilding, and remodeling industry in seven counties.
