Builder Magazine announced the Builder 100, its annual ranking of the 100 largest home building companies. The Builder 100 list is comprised of both private and public builders and identifies the top home builders in America by annual closings, gross revenue, and rate of change year over year, as well as information about where and what they build.
Dallas-based home builder, Gehan Homes retained its position at number 27, solidifying its place as one of the largest homebuilders in the country. Gehan Homes is further ranked number 12 among private builders across the nation.
Gehan Homes currently builds in over 50 communities in 4 major Texas markets. They build new homes in Dallas, Austin, Houston and San Antonio. Aggressive development and continued product enhancement were major contributing factors in Gehan Homes’ success. Plans for 2013 include expansion into over 20 additional communities.
