Trinity Falls is expanding! The development has purchased the Heritage Farm, adding 271 acres to the sprawling community, located in beautiful McKinney, Texas. The announcement was recently featured in Builder Magazine.
Trinity Falls is adjacent to the Heritage Farm track of land. The additional acreage will bring approximately 1,000 new single-family homes to Trinity Falls. The parcel also adds 7,100 square feet of office space, 13,200 square feet of retail space, a fourth elementary school, a fire station and park space to the current Trinity Falls master plan. The expansion will result in several new shops, offices and amenities for the residents of the exciting community of Trinity Falls.
“This is a significant purchase, increasing our acreage from more than 1,700 to nearly 2,000 and allowing us to create a community with almost 5,000 single-family homes,” said Jim Baker, general manager of Trinity Falls. “The long-term cumulative economic impact of developing Trinity Falls and the Heritage Farm Tract is over $9 billion.”
Launched in 2016, Trinity Falls features homes priced from the upper $200,000s to more than $600,000. Amenities include pools, hike and bike trails, fishing piers and much more. A centerpiece of the community is B.B. Owen Park, a 350-acre natural area along the East Fork of the Trinity River. In 2016, Trinity Falls was named “Master-Planned Community of the Year” by the Dallas Builders Association.
Gehan Homes is proud to be a part of this growing and successful development.
