Gehan Homes, an award-winning Dallas-based homebuilder, was ranked the 8th fastest growing company on the Middle Market 50 list, published this week by the Dallas Business Journal. The Middle Market 50 ranks the fastest-growing companies in North Texas with annual revenue of $25 million to $750 million, based on revenue growth.
As the 29th largest builder in the United States, Gehan Homes has experienced continued revenue growth over the past several years. John Winniford, Chief Executive Officer, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
“Being named one of the fastest growing firms in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area is testament to our focus on market and product expansion”, said John Winniford, CEO. “We are continuing to build upon our plan offerings to accommodate the evolution of the market and are expanding into desirable communities across Texas and Arizona.”
Gehan Homes boasts more than 85 communities across the Lone Star State and Arizona. Earlier this year, the remaining shares of the Addison-based homebuilder were acquired by Tokyo-based Sumitomo Forestry America Inc., which originally acquired a controlling interest in the company in 2014.
