Gehan Homes was named the 18th fastest-growing middle market company in North Texas for 2019. The annual ranking, published by the Dallas Business Journal recognizes the fastest-growing companies in North Texas with annual revenue of $25 million to $750 million, based on revenue growth over a three-year period.
The Middle Market 50 List began five years ago and Gehan Homes has been named on the list every year. The builder of new homes in Texas and Arizona is one of only four companies to attain this distinction. Gehan Homes has maintained a robust year-over-year growth in revenue amid new ownership and management.
“We have achieved significant growth over the past three years by diversifying our product line and aggressively pursuing land in highly desirable locations,” said John Winniford, President and CEO of Gehan Homes. “Given the financial strength of our parent company, Sumitomo Forestry, we will continue to focus on increasing market share in all five of the markets we serve.”
The top 50 middle market firms are helping drive growth in North Texas by collectively employing over 66,000 people last year. They have added well over 17,000 jobs in the past three years combined.
