Gehan Homes rebranding initiative includes a new graphic identity that aligns with the company’s evolution and purpose. In recent years, the company has cultivated market expansion, diversified its product offering, recognized internal growth and forged a partnership with [Sumitomo Forestry America](http://sfc.jp/english/). These advancements in the company’s business along with a desire to update the brand to more precisely reflect the company’s direction were the catalysts in a decision to develop an updated identity.    On the design level, the 5-pointed star symbol that was used in variations of the company’s logo for the past 25+ years, has been updated to a 4-pointed icon. The inspiration for the icon was found in a Japanese concept known as ikigai. The updated graphical element became the influence behind the company’s new tagline, “Happiness Lives Here”.    “Our brand ethos was built upon the four cornerstones of building high-quality homes, leading in exceptional design, offering a personalized experience and providing award-winning customer service,” said John Winniford, President & CEO. “These four elements define our sense of purpose and our passion. Our new logo and tagline represent our commitment to these principles, where we endeavor to honor the foundation we have built, recognize our current achievements and pay homage to the partnerships that will carry us into the future.”   The new logo and tagline will begin rolling out this month in Gehan Homes’ 100+ new home communities across Texas and [Arizona](https://www.gehanhomes.com/new-homes/arizona/phoenix?__hstc=186366390.e34ae4de25cc17724c4abd4382bab27e.1684945922552.1690482256924.1690484339373.131&__hssc=186366390.59.1690484339373&__hsfp=207578461).
