Tejas is partnering with eight homebuilders to develop the first homes in Lago Mar. Gehan Homes is among one of the first builders to be announced. The remainder are expected to be announced closer to the community’s grand opening this fall.
Located in the Galveston-Clear Lake corridor, Lago Mar is a 2,033-acre master planned community set amongst breezy palms and beautiful landscaping. Lago Mar will offer non-gated, gated and lakeside homes priced from the low $200,000's to the $400,000's. Sales in this price range have remained resilient during the oil slump, according to recent monthly reports from the Houston Association of Realtors. Land Tejas is now working to deliver the remainder of the first phase of home lots, as well as finishing out Lago Mar’s initial amenities, including a recreation center, trails, pools and green space. The recreation center is expected to open in summer 2017.
